Biological traces under her nails suggest she may have fought back before her death. Authorities are gathering more evidence to reconstruct her final moments and clarify the circumstances of her tragic end. Valentina, from Filiași, was discovered near the Zăvideni dam, and DNA analysis revealed skin remnants indicating a physical confrontation. Her relationship with Vlad Bălțățeanu lasted about four months, during which he allegedly abused her. Bălțățeanu has remained silent during the investigation, claiming he does not remember killing her. He is currently in custody while the investigation continues, maintaining the presumption of innocence until proven guilty.
