Belgium will transfer three F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine by the end of the year to support its defense against Russia, as announced by President Zelensky. He emphasized the importance of this agreement and mentioned that Ukraine has already received urgent ammunition supplies for the F-16s from Belgium, Spain, and other nations. Additionally, Zelensky highlighted a recent assistance package that included a NASAMS air defense system from the U.S. and Norway. Ongoing discussions aim to secure missile supplies for Ukraine's Patriot air defense systems, crucial for intercepting Russian ballistic missiles. Zelensky reported that out of over 100 Russian drones launched, 29 were jet-powered, with 18 successfully shot down.
