The total budget for this support scheme is 26.625 million lei, aimed at enhancing local potato production. Farmers must cultivate at least 0.3 hectares and achieve a minimum yield of 12 tons per hectare to qualify. If applications exceed the budget, the aid per hectare will be proportionally reduced. The scheme is open to various agricultural producers, including individuals and legal entities, with a cumulative aid limit of 50,000 euros over three years. This initiative addresses the high costs and reliance on imports in the potato sector.
