Airbus îşi menţine obiectivele pentru 2026 după un trimestru peste aşteptări, susţinut de livrările de avioane şi divizia de apărare

Airbus reported better-than-expected Q2 results, maintaining its financial and industrial targets for 2026, driven by increased aircraft deliveries and strong defense performance. The company achieved an adjusted operating profit of €2.43 billion, a 54% rise from last year, surpassing analyst estimates. Revenues rose by 28% to €20.53 billion, exceeding market expectations. Airbus delivered 237 commercial aircraft, a 39% increase compared to the same period in 2025, and reaffirmed its target of around 870 deliveries for the year. The defense division's profit surged by 90% to €357 million, bolstered by rising sales and improved profitability amid increased military spending in Europe. Airbus remains confident in resolving supply chain issues and aims to nearly double profits by 2029.
