Although these firms do not have branches in Romania, they generate revenue in the local market, prompting the authority to assess the transaction's competitive impact. The companies involved supply essential parts for aircraft construction. Airbus operates in Romania through three subsidiaries engaged in aircraft production and maintenance. The Competition Council found no significant competition concerns regarding the acquisition, indicating it aligns with a normal competitive environment.
