Airbus, amendată cu 6,4 milioane de lire în Marea Britanie
Airbus has been fined £6.4 million in the UK for repeatedly violating export regulations related to sensitive technology, including military equipment. The penalty was paid by Airbus Operations Limited after an agreement with HM Revenue and Customs. Violations occurred before November 2022 and involved inadequate record-keeping for controlled technology transfers. Airbus cooperated with the investigation, but authorities emphasized the importance of compliance for national security, especially for defense companies. This is not the first penalty for Airbus, which previously paid around £3 billion in 2020 for corruption practices.
