Airbus has identified and addressed a quality issue in the A321neo fuselage structure, confirming that the aircraft can continue to operate safely. The defect affects around 500 planes, with 250 already in service. The company has found deviations in the surface protection of supporting components and has a solution ready. This issue follows a previous fuselage problem reported nine months ago. Despite the defect, deliveries continue without immediate repair requirements, although regulatory authorities may impose repair directives. Delta Air Lines is in constant communication with Airbus regarding safety measures.
