AIEA anunță un armistițiu în jurul centralei nucleare ucrainene Zaporojie ca să se poată face reparații
Russia and Ukraine have agreed on a ceasefire around the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant to allow repairs and restore energy supply. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) reported that the plant has been without external power since August 20 due to military activity nearby. The IAEA facilitated the ceasefire to enable Ukrainian technicians to begin repair work. Rafael Grossi, IAEA's director, emphasized the importance of safety and security in nuclear operations. Despite attempts by Ukraine to establish a temporary ceasefire along the front line, Russia's refusal hindered these efforts. Meanwhile, U.S. envoys are set to meet with Russian officials to discuss peace negotiations in Ukraine.
