AIEA anunţă un armistiţiu în jurul centralei nucleare ucrainene Zaporojie, pentru a permite reparaţii

Russia and Ukraine have agreed on a ceasefire around the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant to allow repairs and restore energy supply. The plant has been without external power since August 20 due to military activity nearby. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) facilitated the ceasefire, enabling Ukrainian technicians to begin repair work. Despite the reactors being offline, the plant still requires a constant power supply for cooling systems. Ukraine attempted to establish a temporary ceasefire along the front line, but Russia's refusal hindered this effort. Meanwhile, U.S. envoys are set to meet with Russian officials to discuss peace negotiations.
