AIE eliberează peste 20 de milioane de barili de motorină. Cât costă litrul în România
The International Energy Agency (IEA) has agreed to release over 20 million barrels of diesel to stabilize supply and curb rising prices. This decision follows pressure from U.S. President Donald Trump on EU countries to utilize reserves, warning of potential diesel export bans from the U.S. if they do not comply. Diesel prices have surged due to supply disruptions from geopolitical conflicts, impacting inflation and living costs. The IEA council reaffirmed its commitment to the collective action initiated in March, which aimed to release over 400 million barrels of oil and petroleum products. While the current release plan is seen as insufficient by the U.S., Spain announced it will release 4.4 million barrels from its strategic reserves in October.
