AI Act intră în vigoare: Companiile care folosesc IA generativă trebuie să își informeze utilizatorii

Article 50 of the EU AI Act mandates companies using generative AI to inform users about AI interactions and label AI-generated content starting August 2, 2026. This regulation applies to all AI systems, not just high-risk ones, with penalties for non-compliance reaching up to €15 million or 3% of global revenue. The European Commission's AI Office has structured a Code of Practice with two sections for generative AI providers and operators, with nearly 190 organizations, including major tech firms, already signed on. Compliance is voluntary but offers a recognized path across EU member states. The guidelines emphasize transparency and the need for technical markers in AI-generated content, while exceptions exist for clear AI interactions. Companies are encouraged to act promptly to align with these regulations.
