Agricultura românească, prinsă în menghina datoriilor: Insolvențele au crescut cu 52,5% în 2026
Romanian agriculture faces increasing financial pressure due to declining profitability and repayment difficulties. Insolvencies in agriculture, forestry, and fishing rose by 52.5% in the first eight months of 2026 compared to the previous year. Over 270 companies in these sectors entered insolvency, significantly outpacing the overall economy's insolvency growth of 4.8%. The agricultural sector has become the second least profitable in the economy, with non-performing loans rising sharply. Seasonal income and fluctuating prices exacerbate financial risks, leading to liquidity issues even for companies with valuable assets. Timely restructuring can help businesses navigate financial challenges and maintain production capacity, protecting jobs and community economies.
