Agricultura românească intră pe modul de supraviețuire: Îngrășăminte mai puține, utilaje amânate. Ce ar putea însemna pentru fermele din țară

The Global Farmer Insights 2026 report by McKinsey reveals how farmers adjust spending during financial pressures, particularly on fertilizers and machinery. The study, based on responses from 5,500 farmers across ten countries, highlights that when profitability declines, farmers prioritize liquidity and delay non-essential expenses. Fertilizers are often the first costs cut, impacting production and soil fertility. Conversely, when financial conditions improve, investments in machinery are quickly resumed. The findings, while not directly applicable to Romania, suggest that local farmers may face similar challenges, emphasizing the importance of maintaining liquidity during tough times to influence future investments.
