Agenția Internațională pentru Energie și SUA reclamă că o parte din guvernele UE nu și-au eliberat stocurile de motorină din rezervele strategice
EU member states are discussing solutions to the energy crisis caused by the US-Iran conflict, considering releasing diesel reserves. The Trump administration is pressuring Europe to release strategic reserves within six months, threatening to ban US diesel exports to the EU if they do not comply. The US aims to collaborate with Europe to boost refined product supply and lower consumer costs. The oil industry is lobbying for European allies to release diesel stocks to prevent export bans. The International Energy Agency members agreed to release 400 million barrels globally, with Europe committing to release 32.7 million barrels of government stocks and 74.8 million barrels of industrial reserves. However, some European countries have not yet fulfilled their commitments, and analysts believe rapid release of promised volumes is unlikely due to ongoing geopolitical uncertainties.
