The National Permanent Bureau of PSD will meet to discuss the nomination of Siegfried Mureșan for Prime Minister. Mureșan aims to continue the strategy of the previous Prime Minister, Ilie Bolojan, focusing on cleaning up the state. He has ten days to seek Parliament's confidence for his government program. Mureșan is attempting to form a government with PNL, USR, and UDMR, although they lack a parliamentary majority. This is the third nomination by President Nicușor Dan following the dismissal of Bolojan's cabinet.
