Agency for Payments in Agriculture begins advance payments on Friday;exceptional state aid to be paid until year-end

APIA will start advance payments for the 2026 Campaign on October 16, with exceptional aid for drought-affected farmers to be disbursed by December 31, 2026. The agency aims to support farmers and livestock breeders facing challenges due to drought and geopolitical crises. Deputy Director Constantin Birca highlighted the agency's commitment to efficient fund management and timely payments during the Agri4Future Romania conference. The event focused on enhancing Romanian agriculture's competitiveness and future CAP prospects.
