After 50 years of top genetics, Bull Parade premiers first local bulls in testing

The 24th Bull Parade in Sangeorgiu de Mures marks 50 years of genetic improvement in cattle, showcasing local bulls for the first time. The event will feature nearly 20 bulls, including breeding and testing bulls from the Romanian Baltata program. Director Valer Radu Sician emphasized the importance of this initiative for the future of Romanian animal husbandry, highlighting international collaborations that provide access to elite genetics. The parade serves both as an exhibition and a technical support platform for farmers, fostering discussions on genetics and breeding practices. The event aims to be a traditional gathering for cattle breeders and specialists.
