The Agency for Rural Investment Financing (AFIR) clarified the conditions for purchasing agricultural combines under the DR-12 intervention aimed at young farmers. The purchase is eligible for funding, but the combine's power must match the cultivated area. The size of the combine is determined by the registered or certified crop area at the time of the funding application. Eligible farmers can request non-repayable funding of up to €200,000, with support intensity reaching 80% for farmers under 41 years old. The DR-12 session runs from October 6 to December 2, 2026, with a total budget of approximately €169.6 million.
