The Agency for Rural Investment Financing (AFIR) has released a model for a Bank Guarantee Letter to facilitate pre-financing for private beneficiaries of an energy scheme. This funding aims to support the development of renewable energy production capacities for self-consumption in agriculture and food industry sectors, financed by the Modernization Fund. Beneficiaries must use this document to prepare their pre-financing application, which will be processed according to the financing contract. The maximum pre-financing amount is capped at 30% of the remaining non-reimbursable state aid, and a 100% guarantee is required. The application can be submitted at any stage of the project implementation, and the model is available on AFIR's website.
