Afaceriștii vin cu soluții pentru relansarea economiei: românii să cumpere produse fabricate în țară
Dragoș Damian, CEO of Terapia Cluj, urges Sorin Grindeanu to launch a campaign promoting Romanian-made products to boost the economy by 2027. He believes that encouraging local consumption can create jobs, attract investments, and increase state revenues. Damian highlights that many Romanians prefer imported goods despite the availability of similar local products, which he argues undermines domestic producers. He cites the pharmaceutical industry as an example, noting that Romanian ibuprofen syrups are often overlooked in favor of imports. He suggests that a national campaign could change consumer habits and reduce the trade deficit, which currently stands at over 22 billion euros. Damian points to Poland as a model for promoting local products and gaining consumer trust.
