Aeroporturile Otopeni și Băneasa vor fi protejate cu sisteme antidronă

Bucharest Airports National Company plans to implement modern drone detection and neutralization systems at Otopeni and Băneasa airports. A market consultation has been launched to assess costs for training, maintenance, and repairs of these systems. The systems must operate day and night and withstand various weather conditions. This initiative responds to the increasing number of drone incidents that pose risks to critical infrastructure. Romania already has an anti-drone system in place, acquired by the Civil Aviation Authority.
