Aeroporturile Otopeni și Băneasa vor fi protejate cu sisteme antidronă. Anunțul CNAB

Otopeni and Băneasa airports are set to acquire drone detection and neutralization systems to enhance safety. The National Company Bucharest Airports (CNAB) is conducting a market consultation to assess costs for training, maintenance, and repairs of these systems. The C-UAS systems must operate effectively day and night, under various weather conditions, and allow for both kinetic and non-kinetic neutralization methods. The need for such systems is underscored by the increasing number of drone-related incidents that pose risks to critical infrastructure. Romania already has a drone defense system in place.
