The National Company Bucharest Airports (CNAB) plans to acquire integrated systems for detecting, identifying, tracking, and neutralizing unauthorized drones at Otopeni and Băneasa airports. The systems must detect drones from at least 5 kilometers away, provide 360-degree coverage, and operate continuously, including at night and in adverse weather. CNAB is also looking for options to integrate non-kinetic and kinetic neutralization methods, which will only be used by authorized personnel. A market consultation has been launched to establish a budget aligned with market prices, and the systems will include training, maintenance, and repair services for a total of 48 months. The deadline for proposal submissions is September 19, 2026.
