Brașov International Airport is conducting a wildlife study to monitor bird activity and assess environmental conditions around the airport. A contract worth 95,000 lei has been signed with Safetymed for this purpose, covering a 13-kilometer radius. The study aims to identify risks related to wildlife and flight operations, ensuring safety measures are in place. Additionally, the airport has previously acquired anti-bird systems due to incidents involving bird strikes.
