Nuremberg Airport was temporarily closed due to a suspected air emergency, but the alarm was lifted after checks showed no danger. The closure coincided with the landing of a flight from Corfu, which was escorted by Eurofighter jets. Operations at the airport were suspended while police secured the area, but the emergency situation was not confirmed.
