Aeroportul din Bacău își face parc fotovoltaic cu sistem de stocare

Bacău International Airport plans to build a photovoltaic park with energy storage, funded by the Modernization Fund. The project, awarded to Servselect, is valued at over 10 million lei and aims to cover 70% of the airport's energy needs, saving around 1.5 million lei annually. It will also reduce CO₂ emissions by approximately 982.5 tons per year. The facility will include a 1.25 MW solar power plant with nearly 2,000 panels and a storage system of 2.502 MWh, covering 2.19 hectares and expected to be completed within nine months.
