AEP schimbă regulile pentru partide. Proiectul de lege, pus în transparență • Newsweek România

The Permanent Electoral Authority (AEP) has made public the draft of a new political party law, aiming for a comprehensive reform of the electoral framework. AEP President Adrian Țuțuianu highlighted the need for change based on experiences from the 2024 and 2025 elections, stating that the current electoral system has reached its limits. The new law will regulate the entire lifecycle of political parties, including registration, internal organization, and dissolution. Key aspects include digitalization of registration processes and a balance between party autonomy and transparency requirements. AEP is also finalizing laws on party financing and electoral organization, with public consultations ongoing.
