Adrian Câciu, atac la Bolojan după prăbușirea PIB

Adrian Câciu, former Minister of Finance, criticized the Bolojan Government for poor economic performance, citing a 0.4% decline in GDP in Q2 2026. He highlighted consecutive quarterly decreases in GDP and warned of a potential budget deficit of 5.5% by 2027. The Council of Fiscal Responsibility advised caution regarding salary and pension increases, emphasizing that spending should not outpace GDP growth. Romania aims to reduce its deficit below 3% of GDP to stabilize public debt, which has recently exceeded 60%.
