Adolescenții din România, cei mai expuși din UE la bullying online și fake news. Avertismentul experților despre pericolele din spatele ecranelor

Romanian adolescents face online bullying and misinformation more frequently than their EU peers, according to a Eurobarometer survey. Experts emphasize the importance of building trust between parents and children rather than relying solely on restrictions. At the ParentED Fest in Bucharest, specialist Jessica Joelle Alexander highlighted the need for open communication to prepare children for online challenges. She warned that avoiding unpleasant online situations is nearly impossible, stressing the importance of trust. Additionally, a study showed that families spending quality time together report higher happiness levels. Psychotherapist Isabelle Filliozat noted that children's behavioral issues often stem from stress rather than parenting mistakes, linking them to lifestyle changes and environmental factors. In Romania, a significant portion of adolescents report emotional difficulties, with 33% feeling down multiple times a week.
