A teenager from Oradea was hospitalized after receiving a hyaluronic acid injection in her lips from an unqualified individual. The procedure, conducted in a clandestine tattoo salon, led to compromised blood circulation in one lip, risking tissue damage. The young girl paid 800 lei and received no proper documentation or information about the substance used. Medical intervention was necessary to restore blood flow and save the affected tissue. The case was highlighted by Dr. Florian Bodog, who emphasized the potential dangers of such procedures performed by untrained individuals.
