Changes to high school admission will affect students entering eighth grade in September 2026, with the main exam remaining the National Evaluation. Some high schools may hold their own entrance exams, but participation is not mandatory. Students must score at least 5 in the National Evaluation to qualify for additional tests, which will be tailored to the school's profile. The results of these tests can influence the final admission score, but students can still rely on computerized placement if they do not participate. Current proposals are still in draft form and subject to change.
