Administraţia Naţională a Penitenciarelor, vizată de un atac cibernetic

The National Administration of Penitentiaries (ANP) experienced a ransomware cyber attack affecting its workstations and servers. The IT team promptly contacted the National Cyber Security Directorate (DNSC) for assistance in mitigating the impact. Currently, ANP and DNSC specialists are working on resolving the issue and investigating the attack, with a complaint to be filed with DIICOT. As a precaution, several ANP services have been temporarily suspended, including web services and VPN connections. Alternatives for maintaining contact between inmates and their families are being sought. Court presentations will proceed as scheduled, with future sessions conducted via videoconference if necessary.
