Aderarea Ungariei la zona euro este probabilă pentru anul 2032

Eurasia Group predicts Hungary's budget deficit will rise to 7.7-7.8% of GDP due to drought and geopolitical shocks, but Hungary may still join the eurozone by 2032. The government faces pressure from high oil prices and drought damages, which are beyond its control. Analysts expect Hungary to enter the ERM II mechanism by 2030, a prerequisite for eurozone membership. This move could enhance Hungary's position in the EU and positively impact market conditions. Fitch Ratings also forecasts a deficit of 7.3% for Hungary this year, with expectations of a decrease to 5.8% by 2027, aligning with eurozone accession criteria.
