Four individuals have been detained by DNA Constanța for allegedly defrauding exams at Ovidius University’s Faculty of Medicine. Investigators claim at least 15 students paid between €600 and €2,500 to pass their exams. A teaching assistant is accused of continuous bribery, while another assistant and two students face complicity charges. The group is expected to be presented to the Tribunal of Constanța for preventive arrest. The investigation revealed that the assistant solicited money from students for exam promotions, with total identified benefits exceeding €37,100. Searches were conducted at 26 locations, uncovering unaccounted cash.
