Acum importăm noi gaze din Ungaria

Romania is currently importing gas from Hungary while halting its own gas exports to the country. The import of 0.6 million cubic meters is necessary for domestic consumption and underground storage for winter. Meanwhile, Romania is only transiting gas to Moldova, as the main supply route through Bulgaria is undergoing capacity expansion. This has led to a decrease in gas injection into storage, with current levels at just over 5 million cubic meters. Romania's storage is at 80% capacity, which is better than the EU average of 70%. Other countries like Poland have already filled their storage to 100%, while Germany lags behind at 56%.
