The National Trade Register Office (ONRC) has extended the transition period for implementing CAEN Rev. 3 by six months, now until April 1, 2027. This extension aims to address delays in processing requests and ensure a transparent framework for all applicants. The decision was made under Government Decision no. 788/2026, published on October 1. Only 37.24% of professionals have updated their activity according to CAEN Rev. 3 by the initial deadline of September 25, 2026. Applicants can modify their processing time using the legal procedure outlined in the applicable legislation.
