Activitatea boților ruși a scăzut drastic în România, după atacul asupra centrelor Yandex. „Până și propaganda are nevoie de priză”
Recent drone strikes on Russian Yandex data centers have led to a significant decline in pro-Russian propaganda activity in Romanian online spaces. Research by Nicolae Țibrigan indicates that pro-Russian content dropped nearly 50%, with online reactions decreasing by about 60%. The monitoring of 29 channels revealed a notable reduction in the effectiveness of pro-Russian narratives. Although a direct link between the drone attacks and the decrease in propaganda has not been established, the data suggests vulnerabilities in the Kremlin's propaganda infrastructure. Following the attacks, Yandex reported major service disruptions, affecting users across several countries. This incident has also led to a sharp decline in online support for far-right parties in Europe and the U.S., raising concerns about the influence of Russian operations.
