Activiste poloneze au inaugurat la Varşovia primul distribuitor de pastile pentru avort din Polonia
In Warsaw, Polish activists launched the country's first abortion pill vending machine, providing anonymous access to medication in a nation with strict abortion laws. The initiative aims to highlight the challenges women face regarding reproductive rights. The machine, called 'avortomat', contains 22 compartments with abortion pills and is located in a support center for women. Despite Poland's restrictive laws, which only allow abortion in limited circumstances, the activists seek to make access to abortion easier. The center has faced opposition from conservative groups, and any legislative changes regarding abortion remain uncertain due to political disagreements.
