The Romanian government approved several resolutions related to infrastructure projects, including the opening of a new border crossing with Ukraine and expropriations for railway modernization. The new border point, Sighetu Marmației II, will facilitate traffic for vehicles and pedestrians in phases, with full operation expected by the end of 2027. Additionally, expropriation procedures were initiated for properties affected by the modernization of the Caransebeș-Timișoara-Arad railway line, with an estimated compensation of 4.7 million lei. The government also allocated funds for airport infrastructure development at Henri Coandă International Airport and approved technical indicators for the Orbital Road project in Buzău, aimed at improving road connectivity.
