Minister Diana Buzoianu has called for the resignation of ANM head Elena Mateescu after discovering extravagant spending on items such as designer clothing, perfumes, and cosmetics. The investigation uncovered that official cards were misused for personal shopping instead of institutional activities. Buzoianu has forwarded the findings to the General Prosecutor's Office and detailed the excessive expenditures, which amounted to hundreds of thousands of lei over two years. The report lists various luxury items purchased, raising concerns about the misuse of public resources.
