The Ministry of Health has canceled the procurement procedure for the BCG vaccine due to incorrect pricing documents from the supplier. A new procurement for 100,000 doses will be initiated soon, while existing stocks will be redistributed among public health departments. As of early September, there were 36,200 doses available, and the Ministry assures that all temporarily unvaccinated children will be vaccinated once the new stock is available. Health authorities are advised to schedule appointments for these children to ensure organized vaccination recovery.
