Drivers in Brașov are facing rising fuel prices due to the removal of price caps and increasing international oil prices. The average price for standard gasoline is 9.55 lei per liter, while standard diesel is around 10.22 lei per liter. Compared to late June, diesel has increased by over one leu per liter. Although a tax reduction was implemented, its benefits have been largely offset by rising global oil prices, which have surged by over 28%. Monitoring data from Pretcarburant.ro shows that fuel prices are updated every two hours from over 1,800 stations across Romania.
