This reduction amounts to 560.86 lei per 1,000 liters and aims to alleviate the financial burden on consumers and businesses. The interim Minister of Finance, Alexandru Nazare, stated that this temporary measure is designed to respond to market pressures and will be reassessed biweekly. The adjustment mechanism allows for flexible taxation based on market conditions, ensuring that the impact on the budget is controlled while addressing rising fuel costs.
