Accident mortal la Raliul Llanes: Un copilot de doar 20 de ani nu a mai putut ieși din mașina cuprinsă de flăcări

The Llanes Rally was overshadowed by the tragic death of 20-year-old co-driver Soraya Barreiro during the event. The accident occurred on Saturday when a BMW driven by German Romano veered off the road, overturned, and caught fire. While Romano managed to escape with burns and was hospitalized, Barreiro tragically could not exit the vehicle and died inside. Hailing from Llanes, she was competing in her hometown, and her brother Pablo was also participating in the rally. Following the incident, organizers immediately suspended the competition, canceling the last four stages. This rally had previously experienced a fatal accident in 2021.
