Two firefighting helicopters collided near Athens while battling wildfires, resulting in injuries to four crew members. The incident occurred in Psatha, Attica, amid extreme weather conditions affecting Greece. Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis highlighted the challenges posed by severe weather, stating that safety concerns hindered aerial firefighting efforts. All crew members were rescued and taken to a hospital, with two sustaining minor injuries and two found unconscious.
