A bus collided with a stationary freight train near the Channel Tunnel entrance in France, injuring the driver and 18 passengers. The bus was carrying truck drivers heading for a shuttle service. The incident occurred at Coquelles, and while two individuals were seriously injured, their lives are not in danger. Traffic through the Eurotunnel was briefly halted for evacuations but resumed shortly after. An investigation has been launched into the cause of the collision, which is noted as the first of its kind at this loading platform. Eurostar services were not affected by the incident, and all trains continued to operate as scheduled.
