A serious train accident occurred in Poland when a passenger train collided with a truck's semi-trailer that was stuck at a railway crossing. Witnesses claim the barrier was raised prematurely, allowing the truck to enter the crossing. However, police reports indicate the truck driver entered as the barriers were lowering. The train, carrying around 250-300 passengers, struck the semi-trailer, but no passengers were injured. Both the truck driver and the train engineer were hospitalized, with the engineer later discharged. The incident disrupted rail traffic on a key line connecting Tczew and Gdańsk.
