The National Company Bucharest Airports (CNAB) has implemented an automated access system in public parking at Henri Coandă and Băneasa airports for vehicles transporting persons with reduced mobility. This system allows entry without a ticket or fee through automatic license plate recognition. Upon entering, cameras identify the license plate and check its registration in the database. Eligible individuals must email CNAB with necessary details to benefit from this service. The disability permit must be displayed visibly on the vehicle. Any changes in license plate or permit validity must be reported to CNAB in advance. If the license plate is not recognized, drivers can use the intercom for assistance. The system aims to simplify access for persons with reduced mobility.
