The National Company Bucharest Airports (CNAB) has introduced automated access in public parking at Henri Coandă and Băneasa airports for individuals with reduced mobility. This system allows entry without a ticket or parking fee, using license plate recognition, provided a valid permit is displayed. Eligible individuals or their representatives must register their vehicle details with CNAB to gain access. The system automatically identifies the license plate upon arrival, checking its validity before opening the barrier. If the system fails to recognize a plate, users can contact staff via intercom for assistance. This initiative aims to simplify access for people with reduced mobility.
