Academia de Fotbal Măgura has withdrawn from Liga 2, with players moving to Interstar and Alma Sibiu due to financial constraints. The collaboration with FC Hermannstadt ended after their relegation, impacting Măgura's operations. Most players left as contracts expired, and the costs of Liga 2 were deemed too high. The U14 to U19 teams will join Alma Sibiu, while Măgura retains its U13 girls' team and boys' teams. Next season, Sibiu will have two teams in the women's youth league, with Alma's team coached by Florin David and Interstar's by Octavian Budică, who has a squad of 26 players.
